Officer Involved Shooting Report Released
PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long and the Division of Criminal Investigation today released the incident report following the investigation into the shooting of Michael W. Croyle on December 13, 2006 in Rapid City.
The Division of Criminal Investigation, assisted by the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office immediately conducted the investigation into the officer involved shooting incident at the request of the Rapid City Police Department. The report concludes that Officer Spencer O’Bryan was justified in firing his weapon.
