Sully County Grand Jury Indicts Kleinsasser 

PIERRE, S.D.-   Attorney General Larry Long said today that Herman P. Kleinsasser, Jr., 38, of Onida, was indicted yesterday on one count of first degree murder, one count of second degree murder and one count of manslaughter in the first degree for the death of his wife Sharon Kleinsasser. The charges were issued by the Sully County Grand Jury. Kleinsasser remains in the Rapid City Regional hospital, under arrest and guarded by law enforcement. His arraignment will be scheduled upon dismissal from the hospital.

The case is being investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and Sully County States Attorney Emily Sovell.
