School Funding Lawsuit Decision Returned 

PIERRE, S.D. -    Attorney General Larry Long announced today that a Set of Proposed Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law and Proposed Judgment for Defendants was filed this morning in Hughes County Circuit Court in the case of Davis et al. v. The State of South Dakota, civil case 06-244.  The documents, totaling over 300 pages are preliminary and will not be final until after both parties file proposed corrections or objections and the judge signs the documents.  The proposed decision holds in favor of the state defendants on all counts.
