DCI Special Agent of the Year Recipient Honored
PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Larry Long presented the Special Agent of the Year award to Darin Cunningham. Cunningham, who resides in Yankton, was selected by a panel of his peers and members of the administration to be the recipient of this award. The award was created to recognize the extraordinary work and dedication to one recipient among the 45 field agents within the Division of Criminal Investigation.
Attorney General Long also presented an additional award to employee Peggy Hoffman. She was nominated and given the Civilian Employee of the Year for 2008. Hoffman has been an employee for the Division of Criminal Investigation since 1984. She was honored for her dedicated work as a Victim Witness Specialist. Hoffman works from the Mitchell DCI Office and covers central and eastern South Dakota.
