PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley and Hamlin County States Attorney Jeromy Pankratz said today that on Sunday, August 1, 2010, the Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a deceased individual in rural Hamlin County.   The investigation is considered suspicious at this time and an autopsy is scheduled. The Hamlin County Sheriff's Office along with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, Watertown Police Department, Codington County Sheriff’s Office, and Estelline Police Department are investigating.
