PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Marty Jackley announces that Thelma Rios has entered a plea of guilty to the crime of Accessory to Kidnapping in that she did, with intent to hinder, delay, or prevent the discovery, detection, apprehension, prosecution, conviction, or punishment of John Graham, Theda Clarke, and other known or unknown principals, render assistance to them. Accessory to Kidnapping is a Class 5 Felony punishable by a maximum of 5 years imprisonment and/or a $10,000 fine. Rios was sentenced to 5 years in the State Penitentiary. The court suspended execution of sentence and ordered Rios to serve 5 years probation and jail time in the amount of time served.
