PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley and Tiffani Landeen-Hoeke said today that Ethan Johns, 21, Marion was sentenced yesterday to life with no opportunity for parole. On November 17, 2010, Johns plead guilty to one count of murder in the second degree which carries a mandatory life sentence.
The law enforcement community extends its sympathy to the Mechel’s family during this difficult time.
