PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Greg Cano Long, 59, Hanover, Maryland and Alcinda L. Miller, 54, Las Vegas NV, were arrested last week on two counts of aggravated grand theft by deception, two counts of grand theft by deception and one count of forgery. Investigators allege that Miller and Long misled investors to the legitimacy of a tribal charter to open and operate a credit union located on the Yankton Sioux Reservation. Miller and Long collected $370,000 from several investors. Long and Miller are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
This case is being investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and the Springfield Police Department.
