PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Assistant Attorney General Heidi Linngren has been selected as the recipient for the “Midwest HIDTA Outstanding Prosecutor” award by the Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Committee. Linngren has served as a drug prosecutor for the Attorney General’s Office over the past 6 years where she has worked directly with the Pennington County Drug Task Force and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
“We commend Heidi for her tireless work as a drug prosecutor for the State of South Dakota,” said Jackley. “The HIDTA award illustrates her daily dedication in the fight to hold drug dealers accountable and take illegal drugs off our streets.”
HIDTA is a drug enforcement program run by the U.S. Office of National Drug Control Policy.
