PIERRE, S.D – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Dr. John W. Coddington, 74, Hoven, was sentenced today on two counts of possessing child pornography. Circuit Court Judge Brown sentenced Coddington to 5 years for each count to run consecutively in the state penitentiary. Coddington plead guilty on March 7, 2011, to these two counts.
Agencies who assisted in the investigation were the Pierre Police Department, Potter County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
