Attorney General Mark Barnett Announces 4^th Annual Pie Feed

(Pierre) Attorney General Mark Barnett said today that the 4^th annual Christmas at the Capitol Pie Feed will be held on Saturday December 8^th from 11am to 4pm.

The public is encouraged to stop by the Capitol and enjoy free pie, coffee, and ice cream. Area talent will provide entertainment throughout the day.  Entertainers include, Cowboys for Christ, MidLife Special, Vocal talents of Dan and Mona Beringer, Dakota Jubilee, Haakon County Crooners, and Main Street Dancers.

There will also be a pie bake off. Those entered in the contest include Attorney General Mark Barnett, his Chief Deputy Larry Long, local journalist Darinda Daniel, radio personality Pat Callahan, State Auditor Vern Larson, and Hughes County Sheriff Mike Leidholt.

The event is now in its fourth year, and last year about 2,000 people stopped by to sample a slice of pie.
