PIERRE, S.D – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that a Beadle County jury has returned a verdict in the 2007 murder case of Pam Huber. Former Police Chief Ken Huber was found guilty of murder in the first degree. First degree murder is a class A felony that carries a mandatory life sentence.
“I applaud the prosecution and investigative team for working tirelessly to bring justice in this case for the victim’s family” said Attorney General Jackley.
Huber was previously convicted of first degree murder in 2008, but the conviction was overturned by the South Dakota Supreme Court.
This case was investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
