PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley and Roberts County States Attorney Kerry Cameron advise today that the body of a Sisseton man that was reported missing on June 10, 2011, has been recovered and identified as Mandel Joseph Yankton, Jr., age 22.of Sisseton, S.D. His body was discovered by a local farmer on June 24, 2011, beside a culvert near I-29 in Roberts County. An autopsy was performed and the initial autopsy results indicate accidental death due to environmental exposure. No foul play is suspected at this time.
Agencies that assisted in this investigation were the Roberts County Sheriff’s Office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
