PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that on August 15, 2011, the Attorney General’s website will provide an Open Meeting Agenda page. This will be a central posting site that public bodies of the state will be able to post upcoming meeting agendas that will be accessible to the public. A direct link to the agenda page will be located on the home page of the Attorney General’s website at http://atg.sd.gov.
“The addition of this agenda page will allow the public to search for upcoming public meetings on one central site,” said Jackley. “This is just part of a continued effort to ensure openness in South Dakota government and increased accessibility to the public.”
