Investigation Continues in North Sioux City Death

PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Marty Jackley and Union County States Attorney Jerry Miller advised today that April M. Simmons, 27, Frankfort, was found dead on December 5, 2011, in North Sioux City. The investigation remains ongoing, and law enforcement is waiting on final autopsy and toxicology results. This appears to be an isolated incident and law enforcement has no indication at this time there is any danger to the public.
 
Agencies assisting in this investigation are the North Sioux City Police Department, Union County Sheriff’s Office and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
