Beresford Woman Enters Guilty Plea in Embezzlement Case

PIERRE, S.D.  - Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Brandi Lee Slaven, 37, Beresford, entered a plea of guilty today to one count of grand theft by embezzlement. This offense is a class 4 felony, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for February 29, 2012 in Lincoln County.
