Charles Mix County Jail Escapees Apprehended in Nebraska

PIERRE, S.D.  – The Charles Mix County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation said today that inmates Edward Antelope, 34, and Donald Cournoyer, 28, were apprehended today near Norfolk, Nebraska without incident.  These two inmates escaped from the Charles Mix County jail on Wednesday, March 7, 2012.  They are currently awaiting extradition.

Agencies that assisted in their apprehension were the Charles Mix County Sheriff’s Office, Sioux Falls Joint Fugitive Task Force, US Marshals Service, Nebraska State Patrol and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
