Man Enters Guilty Plea in Roberts County Sexual Contact Case

     Man Enters Guilty Plea in Roberts County Sexual Contact Case


PIERRE, S.D.-  Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Richard Troy Hanson, 37, Sisseton, entered a plea of guilty yesterday to one count of sexual contact with a child under 16. This offense is a class 3 felony, punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment and/or a $30,000 fine. Charges stem from an incident that occurred in Hanson’s home late last summer. Sentencing is scheduled for June 17, 2013 in Roberts County.
This case was investigated by Sisseton Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
