PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today the statewide Methamphetamine Awareness Campaign that is kicking off with a competition for all South Dakota Colleges and Universities this fall.
“Meth is tearing apart families and communities across South Dakota. Prevention and awareness efforts focusing on our youth are key. The education community, law enforcement, healthcare providers, private businesses, and community service organizations are teaming up to make a difference. Our innovative approach is beginning by engaging students throughout our state in a competition to create a fresh, effective campaign to fight meth with $35,000 in educational awards.”
